DP Training Solutions Press Release
For the month of July, DP Training Solutions LLC is offering students its FastApp and Professional Advantage services, a nearly $300 value, at no charge when they register for a Basic, Advanced, or DP Refresher course at its facility in Great Neck, NY.
With FastApp, DP Training Solutions’ experienced professionals prepare students’ applications to the Nautical Institute to help reduce errors that can delay an application, and the start of one’s DP career, for weeks or more. With Professional Advantage, students can upload their resumes, and receive job offers, information on market trends, and important DP certification updates from the company’s recruiting agency partners.
This week DP Training Solutions also opened registration for its first weekend courses, which will be offered in August and September. DP Training Solutions will be the only DP training center in the United States to offer weekend courses, which it believes will appeal to cadets at the nearby U.S. maritime academies.
CEO Keith Wagner, a 2009 graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, believes the weekend courses are ideal for cadets at the nearby maritime academies. “Cadets at maritime academies spend much of the calendar year at school. It will be much more convenient for students to receive the necessary training to become a DP Operator and increase their earning potential during the school year, rather than taking our courses during their valuable academic breaks. This is why we decided to offer the DP Basic Course on weekends in addition to our normal course schedule.”
Accredited by the Nautical Institute, DP Training Solutions is strategically located in the Northeast corridor, about 20-30 minutes from Manhattan and JFK and LaGuardia airports, and readily accessible to four of the major U.S. maritime academies (U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, SUNY Maritime College, Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Maine Maritime Academy) as well as maritime professionals not living along the Gulf Coast.
